About Us

Avango Couriers are a professional same-day delivery company, specialising in urgent B2B, dedicated deliveries.

The director, Stuart started out as a sole-trader business called 'Moov-U' providing man-and-van services (small removals and local deliveries) in 2012.

After realising that he preferred the challenge of UK-wide same-day commercial work, he came up with the name 'Avango' after repeated conversations of how many trucks were being turned back from deliveries to remote locations, and these were places only "A van goes".

Stuart is a former typesetter and graphic designer, spending 8 years working for a national newspaper chain and a further 3 as a production manager for a trade magazine.

Eventually, Stuart had enough of working in back offices with limited views, and wanted to see more of life out on the open road.

After Stuart's dad John retired from his 50+ year career in the motor trade (vehicle repair), he started to join in with deliveries and would regularly ride-along to help with loading and unloading, as well as providing expert navigation tips to avoid traffic jams.
